ALWAGHT- A senior Hamas official said the group categorically rejects any effort to disarm the resistance, warned against foreign interference in Palestinian affairs, and called for stronger, more explicit guarantees for the second phase of the ceasefire with Israel.
Osama Hamdan said Hamas will never surrender its weapons or accept foreign forces tasked with disarming the resistance, stressing that such proposals are categorically rejected. He framed disarmament demands as attempts to achieve what Israel failed to accomplish militarily.
Addressing the ceasefire with Israel, Hamdan said repeated violations demonstrate the need for clearer and more detailed guarantees in the second phase of the agreement. He warned that Israel’s continued closure of Gaza crossings signals an intention to resume aggression.
Hamdan argued that the blockade and siege will not weaken Palestinian resistance, but instead deepen hostility toward Israel. He also criticized Israeli and US policies, describing them as part of a broader strategy to impose regional dominance through military control.
Despite ongoing attacks and mounting casualties, Hamdan expressed confidence in Palestinian resilience and the resistance’s ability to continue. He accused Israel of hundreds of ceasefire violations and said the humanitarian toll continues to rise as aid remains blocked and military operations persist.
