ALWAGHT- The foreign ministers of Iran, Saudi Arabia and Oman stressed the importance of coordinated efforts to strengthen regional stability and safeguard security in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi held separate phone calls late Monday with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan to discuss the latest bilateral ties and regional developments.
The three foreign ministers emphasized strengthening cooperation and advancing joint diplomatic efforts to promote regional stability. They also stressed the need to restore security in the Strait of Hormuz, saying the waterway's insecurity has been caused by US aggressive actions.
