ALWAGHT- The commander of Iran’s Army Ground Forces warned that any US military ground presence on Iranian soil would be met with a severe response, stressing that the force remains fully prepared to confront and repel any ground threat.
Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi said Iran’s Army Ground Force has strengthened its capabilities in recent years through continuous and specialized training to confront a range of ground threats.
During a visit to units in southeastern Iran, he warned that any hostile action would face a “decisive and deterrent response,” including any attempt by US military personnel to enter Iranian territory.
Jahanshahi said the determination of Iran’s Armed Forces, backed by public support, had strengthened national cohesion and undermined the calculations of the country’s adversaries.
He added that Ground Force units remain at full combat readiness, closely monitoring threats and movements along Iran’s borders. Rapid-reaction, special forces, drone, artillery and armored units are also deployed to reinforce border security.
