ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said no power can force Iran to surrender or accept weakness, stressing that the country can withstand growing military, economic, and security pressures through national unity and decisions grounded in expertise and reason.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his government has faced war, sanctions, assassinations and mounting economic and security pressures since taking office. He said Iran has nevertheless maintained essential services and resisted adversaries’ expectations of a collapse.
Pezeshkian defended a recently reached memorandum, saying it was the result of extensive consultations among military, security, government, legislative and judicial officials. He argued that the framework was based on expediency, dignity and wisdom, rejecting criticism from those he said lacked a full understanding of the circumstances.
The president acknowledged major challenges involving inflation, livelihoods and employment, saying the government is working to ease pressure on the public. He also praised national unity during missile attacks, noting that even critics of the government stood by Iran and its national dignity.
Pezeshkian stressed that Iran’s strength depends on unity, cohesion and decisions based on expertise and reason. He said no power could force Iran into surrender or helplessness, urging officials to stand together behind agreed decisions and warning that internal divisions could be exploited by the country’s adversaries.
