ALWAGHT- The IRGC Ground Forces carried out a missile and drone strike against the headquarters of the US commander at Kuwait’s Ali Al Salem Air Base.
The IRGC says its Ground Forces launched a missile-and-drone attack on the US military presence at Kuwait’s Ali Al Salem Air Base early Wednesday, targeting a US commander’s headquarters and residence. The IRGC said the strike was retaliation for a US attack on a residential home in Sirik that it says killed four people, including a child, and injured nearly 70 others.
According to the IRGC, the operation was carried out alongside attacks on US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Erbil. It claimed several US personnel were killed at Ali Al Salem and said a drone hangar and staging platform were set on fire, while several drones were destroyed.
The IRGC also addressed Kuwait’s population, citing Iran’s longstanding ties with the country and opposing the US military presence there. Meanwhile, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that continued US attacks would provoke broader and more destructive Iranian retaliation, claiming previous strikes had caused extensive damage and casualties among US forces.
