Ansarullah: Saudi Escalation Could Have Been Avoided Through Peaceful Engagement

ALWAGHT- Ansarullah official Mohammad Abdelsalam blames Riyadh for escalation, says Its narrative is losing credibility among allies.

Ansarullah spokesman Mohammad Abdelsalam accused Saudi Arabia of choosing escalation and committing crimes instead of responding to calls for peace. He also alleged that Riyadh is using misleading narratives to intimidate other countries, gain sympathy, and encourage them to act on its behalf.

Abdelsalam said Saudi Arabia’s messaging is losing influence, claiming that even some of its closest allies are no longer convinced by its narratives. He argued that those who continue to support Riyadh are primarily motivated by financial interests.

The remarks came amid a sharp escalation in fighting, with dozens of Saudi airstrikes reported across Yemen. Yemeni forces responded by targeting Saudi economic and military sites, including Aramco facilities and Abha Airport, while also imposing restrictions on maritime traffic to and from Saudi Arabia.
